We haven't written in a while. I guess that's because if you don't have anything good to say then your better off saying nothing. It has been a long 3 weeks of praying and praying about our agency and whether or not to stay with them. Although we feel that they want the best for the children in Vietnam, we also feel that they lack the one thing that we need: communication. Are we wrong to want a agency whom when we call, will return our call the same day or the day after? Are we arong to want an agency to return e-mails within a reasonable amount of time. Is it wrong to want to have a more specific timeline for referral and travel.
We realize that with international adoption anyting can and ultimately does go wrong. Maybe it's because we're older and hopefully a little more wiser, but I beleive when you enter into an agreement with an agency, they are working for you, and should be there for you when you have questions that need answered.
If they don't know the answers, they should say so and not beat around the bush.
We have come to the conclusion that we will not find our daughter with this agency, but that she is still out there and we are going to bring her home.

I wish you the best of luck with your new agency! I hope your baby finds you soon.
I think you've made a good decision with changing agencies. Nothing is more frustrating than wanting information and having trouble getting it. The wait is hard enough, made harder by waiting for an answer. Good for you I hope your new agency is more helpful.
