Dad's Get Anxious Too!

I am very excited to be a dad again. This is another blessed time in our lives. We have been blessed so much. God is so good to us.

I tend to blame S~ to be the one who gets so anxious. But, to be quite honest, I just hide it better. But don't think for a minute that a true Dad doesn't think about his child a lot, even if he hasn't seen her face.

It's times like these that I appreciate my fast paced job that demands my full attention for 10-12 hours a day, though it is sometimes hard to concentrate.

I know exactly what she will look like. She will have her mothers smile, her sisters eyes, and God's love in her heart. What a beautiful little girl.

Our adoption has had its ups/downs, but it will all be worth it. This is our fourth child, second adoption. What a great family! One in high school, one in junior high, one in primary school and one waiting in Vietnam. Kids everywhere!

As S~ has said (in previous post) we are awaiting our referral. I know she(we) will really become more anxious after receiving our beautiful daughters picture.

Hats off to you S~! You work with the agency and translate the info to me. You take such great care of our families needs. What a great wife(mom)!

I have been enjoying reading your blog, and after deciding to pursue Vietnamese adoption, I am hoping that you can share the name of the agencies you have used. It is overwhelming trying to choose, and I would really appreciate it if you could email me your experience. Thank you so much!
