Know Any Good Hotels in Hanoi?

I am posting today to get some information on reasonably priced hotels in Hanoi. We are just trying to test the waters on some good places to stay. We are planning on taking our 3 children with us, so we would need a place with at least 2 bedrooms. Our children are 16,14, and 7 (2 teenage boys and a little princess).

I am hoping to find something nice in an area where we could easily get to shopping centers, food stores and resturaunts.

If anyone out there has any suggestions please feel free to use my comments section to let me know your ideas.

Thanks,
Stephanie

Families from our agency have been staying at the Hong Ngoc Hotel while in Hanoi. I think they have suites, but I'm not 100% sure. It's a little "rougher" than some of the really big fancy hotels, but it's centrally located and reasonably priced. I don't have the website, but I'm sure you could google it :)

Isn't it fun to start thinking about travel?!

I'm in love with the Somersets...the Grand is closer to shopping, etc... we stayed at the Westlake and it was being reconstructed from the ground up... the room we stayed in was beautiful and SO homey and comfortable. It's not as cheap as some, but a lot less than the more upscale hotels in Hanoi.
